How the fashion for women has developed since antiquity

Since ancient times, a woman always wants to look good. And in this, clothing helps her as well, express and embellish oneself. If from the beginning of the twentieth century the fashion dictated narrow orientations, a certain fashion movement, then at the beginning of the twenty -first century, as such, certainness no longer exists, the trends of fashion over the past seventy years have changed a lot and gradually even the classical fashion has been divided into several parts.

And the fertile time has come when almost all the styles are fashionable in clothes, and everyone can find themselves and be, as they say, “in trend”. Consider the chronology of fashion development over the past seventy years:

• in the fashion of the thirties, a large imprint left the then crisis in the global economy. People, suffering from a lack of funds, were especially careful about their clothes. In order to at least somehow change the style of obsolete dresses, added ruffles, lengthened dresses, sewed the fabric to the hem, from this and resulted in, the then fashion. Then the cinema was very affected. There were then cinema celebrities, the standards of style. There were accessories, hats, furs, all kinds of capes in fashion. And designers dictated fashion: Coco Chanel, Elsa Skyaparelli.

• The Second World War left its mark on the fashion of the forties. There were wide jackets with big shoulders in the style of a militarist in fashion. Changes also occurred in female fashion, the skirts became shorter to the knees, and jackets are similar to military uniforms. In these scarce times, hats disappeared, scarves came in their place. Women were forced to draw on their feet “imitating stockings”, since it was impossible to get at that time. At the end of the war, changes, dresses and skirts began in fashion – cases. And by the end of the forty lush skirts with ruffles emphasizing the waist.

• The fifties made a splash, dresses came into fashion, skillfully emphasizing female delights, bust, waist and hip line. The fashion designers really wanted to return femininity lost in the war years of the forties. Pencil skirt, Kleysh sun, corsets pulling the waist. Again all possible accessories, hats, jewelry, glasses, bags appeared.

• In the sixties, the youth so -called “London style” of the style is in fashion. Bright colors, cage, strip . Fabrics – nylon, lurex, with brilliance, polyester. By the middle of the sixties hippies, mini skirts, claw pants.

• In the seventies, everything was fashionable: disco, hippies, dudes, retro. Jeans, overalls, turtlenecks, shirt dresses came into fashion. At that time, the concept just appeared_ basic wardrobe. The shoe platform came into fashion.

• The eighties were sexuality in fashion: mini skirts, open neckline, leggings, shiny fabrics, tight -fitting clothes. The basis was the trapezoid style – wide shoulders, narrowed to the bottom of the dress with wide belts. Sports clothes, leather jackets, jeans of Varenka came into fashion.

• The nineties turned the world of fashion with a careless and well -worn look, the direction of the hippie, granate, ethnic. Synthetic fabrics, bright poisonous colors became in fashion. At the end of the nineties, the previously lost chic: fur, satin, brocade, jewelry is made into fashion.
