Give birth in a few hours! To many women, such an outcome of pregnancy seems surprisingly attractive. However, in fact, rapid birth is considered a complication, they are dangerous for both the mother and the child. During rapid birth, the body does not have time to prepare for delivery as this happens during ordinary childbirth. Fast births are usually more painful than ordinary and fraught with complications.
Considering rapid birth, the causes of complications become obvious. During swift births, lasting only 3 to 5 hours, the uterus literally throws the baby out of 1 or 3 attempts, which can adversely affect both the baby and mother. After a rapid birth, an infant can get a neck or hemorrhage due to a sharp difference in pressure. The mother can have a rupture of the cervix, vagina or even the uterus itself. Small birth for women with multiple pregnancy is especially dangerous, with a large child or for those who have not yet reached the term.
There are a number of factors that may indicate the predisposition of the woman’s body to rapid childbirth.
Of course, in the maximum risk zone are women who have already suffered swift births, or often giving birth to. Do not forget about the hereditary factor – women whose closest relatives of whom gave birth to a child with quick births are at risk. Stress state, increased excitability and neurosis in a pregnant woman can also lead to stormy birth. Another reason is a complicated course of pregnancy, severe toxicosis, gestosis, or beginning eclapsis.
If a woman has risk factors, then she must be under the supervision of a doctor and, with the slightest hint at the beginning of birth activity, be ready to immediately go to the hospital. Home birth with a rapid delivery is unacceptable.
